Exactly. I've met mercenaries from different countries; Portugal, Brazil and Guatemala and possible more who never stated, and they truly are damaged.
Analysis aligns with ex military (normally PTSD affected), or come from abuse related environments, also school drop outs or youngsters who've never been to school due to various factors, and then there's the mercenary 'Scouts' who search, find and groom them.
9 times out of 10, offering a person $1000-1500pd (average) will destroy any humanity left in a person. A large number of these mercenaries have children.
