At MetLife Stadium, Macklemore opened for Ed Sheeran wearing a keffiyeh and performed “Hind’s Hall” while Gaza footage played behind him. He told the crowd of 80,000 that he wanted people in Gaza and the West Bank to know they haven’t been forgotten.
He said every person deserves the same basic freedom — to feel safety and peace before ever hearing violence.
He called ICE a “terrorist organization” and shouted “Free Palestine, free Cuba, Congo, Sudan and Iran.”
The Israeli-American Council has since pushed to get him removed from the remaining tour dates. 😂😂😂
