Ahmed, I find myself going through your piece trying to put myself in your shoes and repeatedly failing to even imagine what you and the fathers' in Gaza have been and are still going through. You do your best my brother and the rest is in the hands of God, you Gazans know that better than any of us. It is never easy but its the only choice. All of us have a peice of our souls tethered to Gaza. May God watch over your family
I can feel the pain, but more importantly, I feel their resolve, their strength and determination, their resilience and their hope. I feel it because those are the same feelings I experience in my life. No, I am not facing bullets, but surviving is surviving, and it is not living or thriving. Never having the freedom to just enjoy a moment without the heaviness of what comes next being pressed upon you is exhausting, at the least. It is a slow bleeding away of your humanity and sense of worth.

these people deserve to be left alone, they are not the aggressors. The way the world has become some sick survival of the richest makes me disgusted in the human race. and I mean the people who aren't doing anything to stop the madness. the people committing these atrocities do not even deserve my pity, they are disgusting and horrific and in a perfect world we should be able to gather them up on a slow boat to Antartica on a one way trip. I mean, I know we would be kind enough to have a once a month drop of humanitarian food and basic supplies to live. deliver mail. as that would be the only communication they could have. no phones, no computers, no tech, let them live how they should, primative. shit I would even allow them to have fema trailers to live in. at like 4 people to trailer. but I would force them to build their own infrastructure. we could send them used solar panel systems, with no chips, to create their own power. but that would be it.
