A Wake-Up Call from the Sidelines
Dear Fellow Americans,
Oh, how I adore our grand American democracy, where every four years we get to choose between the lesser of two evils, like picking your poison from a menu of arsenic or cyanide. Isn't it just splendid? We've got the Democrats on one side, waving their blue flags and promising change we can believe in, and the Republicans on the other, clutching their red banners and vowing to make America great again. But let's be honest, shall we? It's all a magnificent farce, two sides of the same grimy, corporate-soaked coin that's been flipping us off for decades.
Take our endless love affair with wars, for instance. The Democrats, those peace-loving doves, sure know how to drop bombs with a progressive flair. Remember Obama's drone strikes that expanded faster than a viral TikTok? And the Republicans? Bush's Iraq adventure was a masterclass in freedom-spreading via invasion. Both parties cheerlead for military budgets that could end world hunger twice over, but hey, who needs healthcare when you've got fighter jets?
Then there's the economy, our shining beacon of opportunity. Democrats rail against big banks while quietly pocketing Wall Street donations and bailing them out in 2008. Republicans preach free markets but subsidize oil giants and farm conglomerates like it's going out of style. Both ensure the rich get richer, while the rest of us fight over scraps. Isn't it touching how they unite on trade deals that ship jobs overseas, only to blame each other afterward?
Ah, and immigration enforcement, that heartwarming bipartisan effort. Both parties couldn't wait to birth ICE back in 2003 under the Homeland Security umbrella, with Republicans leading the charge and Democrats nodding along in post-9/11 unity. Obama ramped up deportations to record levels, Trump turned it into a deportation machine, and even under Biden, funding keeps flowing despite the occasional hand-wringing. Now the country's literally being torn apart, families separated, communities raided, all while red and blue point fingers and pretend they're not both complicit in the chaos.
And don't get me started on surveillance, that cozy blanket of security wrapping us all up tight. The Patriot Act, that gem from the Republican era, got a Democratic makeover under Obama, who expanded NSA spying like it was a holiday sale. Now Trump's crew wants even more, all in the name of safety. Both sides adore their tech overlords, like Palantir, whose creepy surveillance platforms power ICE's immigrant-tracking wizardry with multimillion-dollar contracts. And for that extra neighborhood watch vibe, Amazon's Ring cameras feed right into police networks through partnerships that make it oh-so-easy for law enforcement to request your doorbell footage, turning your home security into Big Brother's side hustle. Privacy? That's so last century. Both parties let Silicon Valley harvest our data while pretending to regulate them.
If we keep swallowing this divide-and-conquer nonsense, pitting red against blue like it's a football game, we'll just sink deeper into the muck. Actually, we're already at the beginning stages of that fascist boot pressing down, where elections are starting to feel like scripted theater and dissent is inching toward a punishable offense, all because we couldn't see past the rigged rivalry. Wake up, America, before it's too late. Flip the coin over and see the same smirking face staring back.
With sarcastic affection,
A Concerned Observer

I always made similarities and parallels between USA and Israel then came ICE and I made the same parallel between IDF and ICE, then we found out that ICE were trained by IDF. Now are claiming the lives of Americans in America! I always said that those who were not concerned by what happened to Gaza, will eventually have the same thing done to them. I always said that wherever USA was doing round the world to people and nations, will catch up with them because roosters always come home to roost. Many Yankees just laughed at me and blocked me. Truth Always Prevails!
This is a country on the way out. A symptom is that the Federal Reserve is borrowing money off banks, to buy government debt. That’s a losers game right there.
I think the US will eventually bounce back. But only after all the pain and more that the Russians went through after the USSR fell.
