Much as I would like to donate, I cannot. We’re on a fixed income and are out of money to donate, having reached our limit. I am asked to donate every day to save the environment (air, water, oceans, rivers, parks, desserts), stop wars, help immigrants, help people in genocides, especially the Palestinians, save animals, wildlife,feed the hungry, provide food, clothing and tents to those under siege by the “west,” fund campaigns for politicians who care for the concerns I have, fight against the US/UK/Israel’s endless wars and grabs for all resources they think they have a right to steal. I’m asked to support the real reporters and their podcasts and do that when possible because the majority of citizens think the NYT and WaPo are still good sources for news (they’re not). I loved your beautiful request and see some people can chip into your request. Wish I could, too.

It's right, we share not only information, anger, evidences, or worst of human being, but also our mind, courage, disposition to fight against violence, to get respect for the rights in the world. We need to keep live the flame of peace and brotherhood in this dark historical time period. Thanks!!

However, what I said regarding the subject stands. I'm very protective of Palestinians in light of what they have been going through. The issue I have with Substack and in fact all media is its failure to represent those who have an interest in it. By that I mean, any member should have a right to propose policy; actions and bills and vote on it just as in residents associations. Opaque business models set up to benefit venture capitalists and drive populist rhetoric; ground on driving celebrity cults and critique for its own sake fails to produce ethical alternatives; to consuming the moribund over any flourishing.
