I understand, and fully agree with you. Sometimes, it is really difficult to shake off the nausea of it all. Truly, if one wants a measure of how sick our society is, they need only look at Palestine and Palestinians. It makes even the most calm among us downright angry.
Truly it is Israel's propaganda system that sustains its impunity. On that front, there is reason for optimism. As even their trillions of dollars worth of hasbara is not being able to ward off the naked truth. This, however, came at a mind-numbing cost of Palestinian lives. And still, it has not brought about freedom and an end to occupation; only maybe the beginnings of it and that is still our hope. How many Palestinians--and to a lesser degree Lebanese, Yemeni, Syrian and more to come--must be sacrificed at the evil altar of ignorance, before the light outshines this darkest of darkness?
Yet we cannot afford to think of such things and must keep pressing onwards. As difficult as that is for me, I'm certain it is exponentially more difficult for Palestinians. But all we can do is persevere, until this wicked Zionist abomination is brought low, and the sun can once again shine upon a free Palestine. This, I have faith will come to be, but it cannot come fast enough.
