Two years later, when Vietnam became real, the same father paid off a Queens podiatrist — his tenant — to invent bone spurs so his son wouldn’t have to go. This clown couldn’t even keep the lie straight. Left foot, right foot, both feet — whichever answer kept him out of danger.
