The prosecution of Mahmoud Amin Yaqoub al‑Muhtadi exposes how privacy platforms cooperate with governments while resistance movements are criminalized under foreign legal systems.
I never got a telegram account, but I heard about it. I canceled my TikTok and Xaccount. I have removed Facebook and Instagram accounts from my phone, but I need to take it a step further and council those accounts. All I have left is YouTube and Substack. And these days Substack is also very suspect in terms of your free speech. They’re clamping down on free speech everywhere. The only other one I have and I trust is UpScrolled.
Thanks for the post. Been a whistleblower and about local corruption and been twisted abd bent over outrageous accusations, they love word "intent" imply theycan see through you, character assasignations. And the public ducks it up, sugg finally safe again. They want security looking in all the caring places. Police chief tells my neighbors he hasxa a thick file on me and attorneys only want to chase ambulances.
It's really disturbing and insidious how these so called "private" platforms are quick to sell your data and forge connections to make it really easy for people to be surveilled without their knowledge.

Once you know that he sold 20% of the platform to Abu Dhabi (Israel #2) in the region then you won't be surprised
