Last week the plumbing to my apartment failed. I have had hot water only. My landlord is having conniptions but I reassured him that I can manage this inconvenience with some creativity and so i have used buckets to flush the toilet and wash dishes in the sink by hot water that has been allowed to go cold then topping that up with hot water.
Landlord thanked me and asked me if I can manage until major work is completed. I answered him with “I am not living in Gaza where there is NO water for most, so I will manage this petty inconvenience without complaint!”. The sad part is that he was completely ignorant of Gaza’s crisis.
I'll be at an event this weekend and will be sharing your campaign in the hope that some kind people make a donation.
