Mexico killed a cartel kingpin. The internet says they killed a CIA asset. Timing matters, because Mexico’s new president is openly challenging US power, supporting Cuba, and breaking with Israel.

I think the connection of US meddling with Mexico is 100% established. Are you trying to cast doubt on the continued and 100% enmeshed criminal networks and the CIA, or are you saying that after the Cold War the drug money stopped laundering through the biggest banks on Wall Street such as Wells Fargo and J P Morgan? Are you saying the drug money that no longer transfers to off-shore banks in the Caribbean and in South Dakota? Are you saying the weapons purchased with drug money help to destroy self-sufficiency and per capita GDP and individual spending. I hope not but I am so leery of twiddling manipulative and deceptive CIA tactics. The 6 part series can start hinting, the 2nd part adds more details, perhaps about the sexy girlfriend and builds a rather dashing anti- hero. The 3rd part says that after the last weapons transfer that was clearly CIA financed/facilitated, our astute drug lord thought it was to stay away from the CIA. While she supports Cuba she was forced to end the oil shipments keeping them afloat.
I doubt the spooks would let this happen if they didn’t want it to happen and leaving Mexico to the aftermath fits right into the scheme of things.
