The story
Maram taught children before the war. Now she sleeps on sand and counts the hours between cries. Her daughter, Eman, is seven months old. She was born in a tent during bombing, on the ground, with no doctor and no blanket. Maram cannot breastfeed because she is starving. Her husband is injured. Seven people share one small patch of sand and a single, fragile hope.
What is breaking them
Eman’s cries are thin from hunger. Days are cold; nights are freezing. There is no formula, no diapers, no clean water. Maram’s heart needs medicine she cannot buy. The father needs treatment. Their home was destroyed; they fled again on September 10, 2025. They pay rent for a ruined place they cannot live in. They have no income. Every small thing that most people take for granted is now a life-or-death choice.
The urgent needs
Baby formula for Eman - the most urgent need.
Diapers and baby supplies - hygiene and dignity for an infant.
Medications - heart medicine for Maram and care for the injured father.
Food and clean water - for seven people living on sand.
Blankets, clothing, temporary shelter - protection from cold and heat.
Monthly survival costs
A mother’s voice
Maram’s words are simple and raw:
Most of my posts are about her because, by God, she needs milk.
She remembers giving birth under bombs, holding a newborn with no blanket. She signs every plea the same way:
With hope from the sand where we sleep, Maram and baby Eman - Gaza.
Why small gifts matter
A single can of formula. A pack of diapers. Ten dollars for clean water. These are not symbolic gestures. They are immediate rescues. When many people give a little, it becomes enough to buy a month of milk, a course of medicine, a blanket that stops a child from shivering.
Visibility matters too: a shared post can reach someone who can do more than one person alone.
How to help now
Donate what you can. Even the smallest amount buys essentials.
Share this story widely. Every share increases the chance someone with means sees it.
Prioritize formula and diapers when you give or when you tell others what this family needs.
Final plea
She was a teacher who once taught hope. Now she asks the world for the same mercy she once asked of her students. Baby Eman was born on the ground during bombing and has never known a full belly. Maram is watching her child grow weaker and is begging for milk.
If this moves you, give what you can and share this story. It is not exaggerated to say…
Every dollar buys life. Every share multiplies hope.
